EU co-funded ERA-MIN Joint Call 2021: Raw materials for sustainable development and circular economy
In the framework of ERA-NET Cofund ERA-MIN 3, the French National Research Agency (ANR) launches, in partnership with 24 funding agencies from 21 different countries, the first joint call of ERA-MIN3 which is co-funded by the European Commission. This call will count with an indicative budget of €19 Million.

Disrupting drug Resistance using Innovative Design (JPIAMR-DRUID)
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with seventeen countries (Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom) is launching the fourteenth call for proposals under the umbrella of the JPIAMR. The initiative aims to promote international research on antimicrobial resistance. The total budget for this action is 18.9 million euros.
Sargassum 2 Joint call 2021: Understanding and predicting Sargassum Blooms
Prior to 2010, Sargassum brown algae bloomed only in the tropical North Atlantic, in the Sargasso Sea. Currently, it has been observed on the Brazilian coast, as far as the Mexican coast and throughout the Caribbean Sea. At the same time, in the western Atlantic, it is flourishing on the African coasts, from Sierra Leone to Ghana, creating the Atlantic Sargassum Green Belt (ASGB) with possible continuity between the eastern and western parts. Questions of the influence of climate change on modifications in hydrodynamic conditions in the equatorial zone and possibly on changing wind and precipitation drift patterns and associated rivers inputs are not elucidated in relation to the increase and geographic shift in ASGB.
Multinational and translational research projects on Cerebrovascular Diseases including Small Vessels and Brain Barriers Dysfunction - ERA NET Neuron - 2022
The aim of the call is to fund multinational, collaborative research projects that will address important translational questions in the areas of stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases including small vessels disease (CSVD) and the dysfunction of brain barriers.
Call for proposals : Science avec et pour la société – Recherches participatives
The "Recherches participatives 1/ Participatory Research 1") call for proposals is part of the multi-annual SAPS programme (Sciences with and for society) which the ANR launched in 2021 with the ambition of amplifying the interactions between the academic sphere and the general public. The aim is to support and contribute to structuring "participatory science and research", a movement in which civil society stakeholders engage with researchers, individually or collectively, in producing knowledge that can be used for action and can play a substantial transformative role.

As part of the Europe-Africa LEAP-RE program, co-funded by the European Commission, 9 R&D funding organizations are launching a call for projects coordinated by ANR and MESRS (Algeria). Integrated Approaches to Human Migration/Mobility in an Era of Rapid Global Change - Belmont Forum 2022
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, launches a call aimed at fostering integrated systems approach on migration and mobility and its intersection with Global Change. In order to facilitate the constitution of transnational and transdisciplinary research consortia meeting the call’s eligibility requirements, the Belmont Forum invites prospective applicants to register and participate in several capacity building and networking events which will take place between February and June. Following an extension of the deadline, applicants must submit their proposals by 12 August 2022, 22:00 CEST.

Chlordecone is a pesticide used in Guadeloupe and Martinique from 1972 to 1993 to control the banana weevil. This molecule (and its secondary metabolites) is toxic to humans and causes lasting pollution of water, soil and food chains.
