Datasets on funded projects

From 2005 to 2019, ANR funded more than 20,000 research projects outside of Investments for the Future Programmes (PIA) on a wide variety of scientific topics and at various levels of technological maturity.

In a process of transparency and openness of public administration data, in accordance with the principles of the Open Government Partnership and the articles of the law for a digital Republic, ANR makes available its datasets on projects and partners funded from 2005 to 2019 (excluding PIA).

Two data files are thus available on the open platform for French public data data.gouv.fr. By summer 2020, ANR will publish its datasets on projects funded in the context of PIAs, programmes it manages in the field of higher education and research. The Agency will ensure that the files are regularly updated.

The ANR datasets on funded projects also populate the scanR search engine created by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, which makes it possible to explore the French research and innovation landscape according to four types of data: research structures, funding, authors and productions. This approach aims to enrich scanR search results, at the service of users (scientific communities, institutional research players, etc.).
