Changes in political work through the prism of big data – MUTADATA
The present research program examines the emergence of political expertise on big data and how they professionalize their skills. Service providers who gather, manage and analyze microtargetting data are at the cross road between profession, expertise, and activism. They embody the diversity and variation of political professionalism within moving partisan structures and evolving political activities and practices.

The French Yellow Vests: A Pluridisciplinary Approach to Popular Politicization and Mobilization – GILETSJAUNES
This multidisciplinary project documents the participation in the GJ. It sheds light on the politicisation, the scope of the protest, its media, political and social reception. It is based on a corpus of quantitative and qualitative data collected since 2018, supplemented by questionnaires, interviews, observations, and grievance books. The comparative approach and the multidisciplinary approach give an account of the movement in its different dimensions and configurations.
COMETary dust ORigin – COMETOR
The formation and evolution mechanisms of cometary dust are studied by the analyses of ultra-carbonaceous Antarctic Micrometeorites (UCAMMs) extracted from the CONCORDIA micrometeorite collection. Experimental simulations of the formation of cometary organic matter were performed by high energy ion irradiation of cometary ice analogues in the laboratory.
ET-Nod : Effectors Triggering Nodulation In legumes – ET-Nod
Legumes play a key agronomic and ecological role via symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing rhizobia. We previously identified during the SymEffectors ANR project (2016-2020), an alternative symbiotic pathway, mediated by type III effectors (ET-Nod), that triggers nodulation. This project uncovered the widespread presence of ET-Nod in bradyrhizobia, identified new family members, and advanced the molecular understanding of their mode of action.
Ascending smoke vortices in the stratosphere – ASTuS
The stratosphere extends from the last cloud layers until about 50 km. Its behavior is determined by its composition which is perturbed by intense but sporadic events which are the volcanic eruptions and the more and more frequent large wildfires. We consider the consequences of these events and their effects on climate. A special interest is dedicated to ascending vortices that confine the plume and rise it up to 40 km and more.
