The French National Research Agency (ANR), in collaboration with the French Defence Innovation Agency (AID), is launching the call for expression of interest “Climatic Extremes”.

The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding organizations of which ANR is a member, is launching a call for proposals in the area of oceanic science. The call, entitled “OCEAN 2: Towards the Ocean We Want : Biodiversity and Ecosystem Sustainability for Nature and Human Well-being”, aims at coordinating actions and projects through a transdisciplinary approach, fostering co-creation, co-design, and co-implementation of innovative solutions to address global environmental challenges related to the ocean, its biodiversity from genes to ecosystems.

The France 2030 plan aims to bolster France’s global position in the area of innovation and research. To confirm its position at the highest international level, France is investing massively across the entire value chain, from fundamental research to innovation and experimentation. To remain competitive, it is putting in place the resources needed to innovate, transform, promote and attract or retain the best international talents in France.

The rapid development of AI-powered robotics is transforming industry, services and broader society by enabling new capabilities in various complex real-world environments. Building on these advances, this EIG CONCERT-Japan joint call for proposals “AI-Powered Robotics for Real-World Applications" supports collaborative research between researchers in Japan and Europe addressing key scientific and technological challenges in the development of AI-powered adaptive, autonomous and intelligent robotics capable of operating in dynamic, unstructured and human-centered environments in the real world.

L'objectif du PEPR Climat TRACCS (Transformer la modélisation du climat pour les services climatiques) est de de transformer les méthodes de modélisation du climat, d'améliorer notre compréhension des impacts et des risques climatiques, pour développer des services climatiques permettant d'aider à l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre d'actions d'adaptation au changement climatique. Le PEPR Climat TRACCS contribue à ces objectifs tout en cherchant à structurer en profondeur la communauté scientifique nationale et renforcer encore son attractivité, pour tirer pleinement parti de son fort potentiel. L’objectif de cet Appel à Projets (AAP) est de contribuer aux objectifs du programme TRACCS en venant compléter les activités de recherche mises en œuvre dans le cadre de ses projets ciblés et des projets lauréats du premier appel à projets.

Le Programme de Recherche Digitalisation et Décarbonation des Mobilités (PEPR MOBIDEC), lancé en 2023, et doté de 30 M€, a pour mission d’accélérer la création de connaissances et de structurer une communauté autour des sujets de décarbonation des mobilités, des biens et des personnes, en s’appuyant notamment sur les données.

Les maladies psychiatriques touchent une proportion importante de la population et représentent un défi majeur pour les systèmes de santé. Leur prise en charge repose encore largement sur des approches diagnostiques et thérapeutiques qui peinent à prendre en compte l’hétérogénéité des troubles et des parcours des patients. Le développement d’une psychiatrie de précision, intégrant les avancées de la recherche en neurosciences, en génomique, en intelligence artificielle et en biomédecine, constitue un enjeu crucial pour améliorer la prévention, le diagnostic et le traitement des troubles psychiatriques.

Lancé le 1er mars 2024, le programme national de recherche (PEPR) « Sélection végétale avancée pour faire face au dérèglement climatique et assurer la transition agroécologique » (SVA) est une des mesures de la stratégie d’accélération SADEA (Systèmes Agricoles Durables et Équipements Agricoles contribuant à la transition écologique) de France 2030. Piloté par INRAE, il est doté d’un budget de 30 millions d’euros pour une durée de huit ans (2023-2031). Ce programme a pour objectif d’évaluer la contribution de l’édition des génomes pour accompagner la transition agroécologique dans un contexte d’adaptation au dérèglement climatique.

Les territoires d’Outre-mer habités, en raison de leurs spécificités environnementales (pour la plupart des îles de la zone intertropicale), économiques et sociales, concentrent nombre des grands enjeux planétaires contemporains. Ils abritent 80% de la biodiversité française, dont 4/5 des espèces endémiques des territoires français, 55 000 km2 de récifs coralliens et lagons, soit plus de 10% de la superficie mondiale corallienne ainsi que 20 % des atolls mondiaux et plus de 7 millions d'hectares de forêt tropicale en Guyane. Leurs populations sont très dépendantes de la biodiversité et des services écosystémiques qui sont impactés par le changement climatique. Par ailleurs, les activités anthropiques ont, dans ces territoires, des conséquences graves sur l'environnement, la biodiversité et la santé humaine.

Les industries culturelles et créatives (ICC) sont une filière de premier plan essentielle au rayonnement économique et culturel de la France. L'État en a fait une de ses stratégies nationales d'accélération et a confié au CNRS le pilotage du Programme national de recherche Industries culturelles et créatives (PEPR ICCARE), qui constitue le volet recherche de cette stratégie.

Une analyse approfondie montre que le système éducatif français produit des résultats limités en ce qui concerne la maîtrise des compétences fondamentales, l’égalité des chances, le bien-être scolaire ou encore les choix d’orientation. La France possède pourtant des forces de recherche importantes et susceptibles de contribuer à l'amélioration du système éducatif, mais elles ne sont pas mobilisées de façon optimale. Le Programme Prioritaire de Recherche « Sciences pour l’Éducation » ambitionne de créer les conditions d'une meilleure structuration de la communauté scientifique nationale et un renforcement de ses liens avec les acteurs du domaine.

The European Partnership for a sustainable Future of Food Systems (FutureFoodS) launches its 2nd co-funded call for transnational research projects. This call for proposals is co-funded by the European Commission.

Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, JCJC breakthrough is a funding programme set up by ANR as part of its Work Programme 2026. Only JCJC laureates who wish candidate to ERC call in any ERC research disciplines (LS, PE, SH) could apply to JCJC breakthrough programme.

The purpose of this program is to encourage research actors to create new structured partnerships through the creation of "Joint Laboratories" between a SME or an intermediate-sized enterprise and a research laboratory. The EU Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare (EUPAHW) aims to ensure that livestock, poultry and aquaculture systems operate sustainably for the benefit of animal health and welfare and the society.
