Transnational call for proposals on nanomedicine through the ERA-NET EuroNanoMed II
The ANR is associated to the ERA-NET EuroNanoMed II to launch a sixth joint transnational call for proposals for funding of innovative research projects in Nanomedicine.
Fifteen countries / regions are participating to this call for proposals: Belgium/Flanders, Belgium/Wallonia, France, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Spain.
The aim of the call is to support multidisciplinary and translational research proposals that combine innovative approaches (basic, clinical, industrial) in the field of Nanomedicine. This initiative will bring together academic, clinical/public health and industrial research teams to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for the patient, thus enhancing the competitiveness of the European health industry.
Proposals can address any of the three subfields:
- Regenerative medicine
- Diagnostics
- Targeted delivery systems
Each collaborative project consortium should have the optimal critical mass to achieve ambitious scientific & technological goals and should clearly demonstrate the added value of the transnational collaboration. In particular, the project consortium should clearly demonstrate an added value in knowledge transfer towards either clinical (public health applications/research) or pharmaceutical/industrial applications. As such, a proposal must include partners from at least two of the three categories: academia, clinical/public health and industry.
Research proposals have to involve a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 partners from at least 3 different countries including at least two eligible research groups from EuroNanoMed II country/regions participating in the 6th joint transnational call. A majority of partners and the coordinator must be from EuroNanoMed II countries/regions participating in the call (see list above).
Funding will be awarded for a maximum of three years. The ANR will fund only the French partners in the selected projects. Please, note that a consortium will be eligible for ANR only if at least one of the French partners is a French private company.
