The French National Research Agency (ANR) participates in the call "Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change" which aims to facilitate research activities in the European Research Area that inform and support societal transformations in the face of climate change and in line with sustainable development in Europe and globally. The social sciences and humanities are crucial to understanding these processes of change. In particular, proposals should address:
This JPI Climate Joint Call for Transnational Collaborative Research Projects will provide support for top-quality research projects on topics that are of high societal relevance in Europe and globally, recognising that such challenges require joint efforts through multinational approaches. JPI Climate is seeking proposals from consortia consisting of partners from the participating European countries as well as others. Consortia should preferably bring together different scientific disciplines to address the issues within the scope of the described call topics. The projects should display clear links to decision-makers and users of climate knowledge as well as potential change agents in society.
Please note that on 15.10.2013 ANR (France) decided not to participate in the Call Topic Russian Arctic & Boreal Systems
The project must be submitted by the coordinating partner in electronic form on the website indicated above before the deadline.
