Biomedical Innovation in public-private Research Partnership (RPIB)
The French National Research Agency (ANR) is launching a call for proposals (mandatory cooperation between academic and industrial teams) in the domain of biomedical innovation.
This call for proposals will fund applied biological and biomedical research and aims to promote knowledge transfer between industrial and academic partners in the field of health.
The projects could concern discovery, development or optimization of:
- Therapeutic products (drugs, biological products, etc.), vaccines and galenic innovations.
- Diagnostic (classic or rapid) tools and products with, in particular, the validation of biomarkers for prognostic, diagnostic or therapeutic follow-up use.
- Research tools; in silico, cellular or animal models; industrial bioprocesses for biomolecules production.
The projects should concern innovations for common or rare diseases and address, at least, one of these four thematic axes:
- Pathologies and innovative tools
- Inflammation
- Stem cells
- RNAs

The appelsprojetsrecherche.fr portal centralises all information on calls for proposals and calls for applications from ADEME, ANR, Inserm including ANRS, Anses and INCa. It provides a simplified access to upcoming and ongoing calls, giving a greater visibility to funding opportunities. Following their closing date, the calls remain published for a few months.
