Generic Call for Proposals 2020
The Generic Call for Proposals 2020 (AAPG 2020) is the French National Research Agency’s (ANR) main call. It is directed towards all scientific communities and all public and private players involved in French research. It is designed to give researchers in various scientific fields access to co-funding in a large number of research themes, basic or applied, in addition to their allocated recurrent funding.

The ANR has teamed up with the ERA-CVD ERA-NET to launch a fourth joint transnational call for proposals for research projects in cardiovascular diseases, driven by early career scientists. Fifteen countries are participating in this call for proposals: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Taiwan, The Netherlands.

The Belmont Forum: Sustainability in the face of global change
The SRI Congress – Sustainability Research and & Innovation dedicated to Sustainability Science and Development, will be held from 20 to 24 June in Pretoria (South Africa) and online. The event will be co-hosted by the Belmont Forum, an international partnership for research funding in which the ANR is involved. Anne-Hélène Prieur Richard, Head of the ANR’s “Environment, Ecosystems and Biological Resources” Department, introduces us to this structure and its congress focusing on Sustainability Science and the global change we face.
