"Mechanisms and measurement of disease progression in the early phase of neurodegenerative diseases” - EU Joint Programme - Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND)
In the context of ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 (JPND), ANR launches a joint transnational call with the aim of improving the understanding of disease mechanisms and advancing measurability of disease progression at early and pre-symptomatic stages of neurodegenerative diseases.
The 2024 Call for Proposals ASTRID : Specific support for Defence Projects and Innovation
The 14th edition of the call for proposals ASTRID – Specific Support for Defence Research Projects and Innovation, operated by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and financed by the French Defence Innovation Agency (AID) is now open to applicants.
JPcofuND 2 Working groups “Use of digital technologies in neurodegenerative disease research and clinical practice”
The ANR launches in collaboration with the ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 a rapid action call for leading scientists to establish a number of ambitious, innovative, multi-disciplinary and multi-national expert Working Groups dedicated to assess the current and future impact of digital technologies on research and care in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.
Impacts of helminth disease and climate change on livestock health, together with development of control strategies such as novel vaccine and diagnostic - ERA-NET ICRAD 2023
The overall objective of this research call is to increase understanding and preparedness for impending effects on animal health and the livestock industry caused by climate change and spread of anthelmintic resistance. This includes basic research to better understand mechanisms behind these topics or applied development of detection, management, intervention and prevention strategies.
Ecological connectivity to maximise biodiversity conservation between marine protected areas in the Southwest Indian Ocean - SIOMPA 2023
The Southwest Indian Ocean (SWIO) basin is a globally recognized hotspot of endemism and biodiversity. It is home to many spatially fragmented Marine Protected Areas (MPA), which are essential in maintaining marine ecosystems. A crucial element, which requires further investigation, is the ecological connectivity, often highlighted in the design of MPAs and the guarantees of conservation success.
Climat, Environment and Health 2 - Belmont Forum 2023
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, is launching a call aiming at improving understanding among the climate, environment, and health pathways to protect and promote ecological, planetary, and human health in the face of climate challenges. Multilateral, inter-, and transdisciplinary research projects will investigate issues that impede policy implementation; address complex climate, ecosystem, and health pathways to determine processes underlying causal links; capacity development and collaboration across relevant disciplines and institutions; and foster the use of international scientific databases with local knowledge to develop climate-related decision support tools to better inform planning, resilience, and adaptation to climate change.
Call for Proposals for Multinational and Translational Research Projects on Bidirectional Brain-Body Interactions
The ANR is joining forces with the ERA-NET NEURON COFUND 2 to launch a call for projects aimed at gaining a better understanding of the role of bidirectional interactions between the central nervous system and the body in neurological and psychiatric diseases.
