Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, Tremplin-ERC (T-ERC) is a funding instrument set up by ANR as part of its Work Programme 2026. T-ERC is open to all ERC research disciplines (LS, PE, SH).
France 2030 - PEPR SupraFusion - Appel à projets - 2025
Le développement récent et rapide des supraconducteurs à haute température (SHTc) de type REBCO qui sont devenus un produit commercial à hautes performances constitue une percée potentiellement importante pour les applications sociétales de la supraconductivité. Grâce à leurs performances, les SHTc pourraient créer un changement de paradigme, en permettant en particulier, la conception de réacteurs de fusion magnétique compacts, accélérant alors l’arrivée de la production d’électricité à partir de l’énergie de fusion. Les SHTc pourraient également conduire à des avancées très importantes dans d’autres domaines tels que les réseaux électriques, l’énergie éolienne, l’imagerie médicale, la mobilité à faible émission de carbone, la physique des hautes énergies et la science des matériaux à haut champ.

Les industries culturelles et créatives (ICC) sont une filière de premier plan essentielle au rayonnement économique et culturel de la France. L'État en a fait une de ses stratégies nationales d'accélération et a confié au CNRS le pilotage du Programme national de recherche Industries culturelles et créatives (PEPR ICCARE), qui constitue le volet recherche de cette stratégie.
France 2030 - PEPR Cloud - "Fondements algorithmiques et applications pour les clouds de demain"
Depuis plus de dix ans, le cloud est devenu essentiel à nos systèmes informatiques. Son modèle, initialement basé sur de grands centres de données, évolue vers le « edge computing » ou « continuum numérique », notamment via le déploiement de clouds hybrides sécurisés et interopérables qui permettront à terme de traiter de grands volumes de données de manière rapide et efficace.

The 16th edition of the call for proposals ASTRID – Specific Support for Defence Research Projects and Innovation, operated by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and financed by the French Defence Innovation Agency (AID) is now open to applicants.
ERDERA 2026 - Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and non-genetic diseases through variant validation and new technological approaches
The second ERDERA call aims at facing the challenges of diagnosis in rare diseases. Accurately diagnosing RDs is a major challenge, with approximately 50% of individuals with a suspected rare genetic condition remaining undiagnosed or misdiagnosed despite standard clinical genetics care. In addition, RDs of non-genetic origin - estimated to account for about 10% of all RD cases - remain an under-investigated area. On average, it takes around 5 years to establish an accurate diagnosis for people living with a RD (PLWRD). Given the complexity of these disorders, multiple and complementary diagnostic approaches are required. This complexity underpins the objectives of this call.

Originally intended to provide objective insight into issues and help decision-makers make informed choices, scientific expertise long relied on a clear separation between researchers — as knowledge producers — and public institutions responsible for action. These expert assessments, commissioned by public authorities, produce reports summarizing current knowledge on a given issue, territory, or population, often accompanied by syntheses for non-specialists and sometimes recommendations.
Second transnational call for project “Long-term Joint Europe-Africa Research and Innovation Projects on Sustainable Energy”(LEAP-SE)
The joint LEAP-SE 2026 call is the second call of the COFUND LEAP-SE, cofunded by the European Union as part of the Horizon Europe programme. For France, the ANR is participating in the financing of this call, jointly with the LARI (La Réunion Innovation – La Réunion).
Joint Transnational Call (2026) – Personalised Medicine for CARdiovascular, MEtabolic and kidNey diseases (CARMEN2026)
In the frame of the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine, EP PerMed, (supported by the European Union under Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement N° 101137129), the French National Research Agency (ANR), in collaboration with 38 funding organisations, launches a joint transnational call for proposals on “Personalised Medicine for CARdiovascular, MEtabolic and kidNey diseases, acronym: CARMEN2026”. The available budget for this call is over 38 Mio€.
