Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, Tremplin-ERC (T-ERC) is a funding instrument set up by ANR as part of its Work Programme 2025. T-ERC is open to all ERC research disciplines (LS, PE, SH).
Call for research projects on Charcot disease – ALS
Charcot's disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), is a neurodegenerative disease caused by the progressive degeneration of the central and peripheral motor neurons in the brainstem and spinal cord that control voluntary muscles. It is the most common of the rare diseases, with 4 new cases diagnosed each day in France. Life expectancy is 3 to 5 years after the onset of the first symptoms, and to date, there is no cure available.
Generic call for proposals – AAPG 2026
The Generic Call for Proposals 2026 (AAPG 2026) is the French National Research Agency’s (ANR) main call. All scientific communities and all public and private actors involved in French research are concerned. It should enable researchers from different scientific fields to fund their research projects on a large number of themes, whether finalized or not.
2d edition of the Franco-Czech bilateral call for nuclear projects - ANR TACR

France 2030 - PEPR "SVA : Sélection Végétale Avancée" - Appel à projets 2025
Lancé le 1er mars 2024, le programme national de recherche (PEPR) « Sélection végétale avancée pour faire face au dérèglement climatique et assurer la transition agroécologique » (SVA) est une des mesures de la stratégie d’accélération SADEA (Systèmes Agricoles Durables et Équipements Agricoles contribuant à la transition écologique) de France 2030. Piloté par INRAE, il est doté d’un budget de 30 millions d’euros pour une durée de huit ans (2023-2031). Ce programme a pour objectif d’évaluer la contribution de l’édition des génomes pour accompagner la transition agroécologique dans un contexte d’adaptation au dérèglement climatique.
Call for research projects Ecophyto Maturation - ECOM 2025
To contribute to achieving the goals of the Ecophyto 2030 Strategy by building on research outcomes, the Ministries responsible for research (MESR), agriculture (MASAF), ecological transition (MTEECPR), and health (MSA) are launching the fourth edition of the "Ecophyto Maturation" (ECOM) call for projects. Managed by the ANR and co-financed by the OFB, this programme promotes the emergence of innovative, operational, and deployable solutions to reduce the use and impact of pesticides.
Appel à projets "SOLU-BIOD : Vers une intégration systémique des Solutions fondées sur la Nature"
Cet appel à projets du PEPR "Solutions fondées sur la Nature (SfN)" (Solu-Biod) vise à stimuler la recherche interdisciplinaire sur une approche innovante pour répondre aux défis environnementaux et sociétaux actuels. Le programme s'articule autour de quatre axes complémentaires : fondements biologiques et éco-évolutifs ; gouvernance et dynamiques sociales ; évaluation et transformation des pratiques ; modélisation intégrative.
2025 Bilateral collaboration JST-ANR based on CREST program
The signing of the bilateral agreement between the ANR and the JST (Japanese science and technology agency) for the promotion of scientific and technological cooperation has resulted in the opening up of the emblematic Japanese CREST programme (Core Research for Evolutionary Science and Technology) to the participation of French teams in Japanese projects. French teams are invited to participate in research projects in collaboration with one or more Japanese teams concerning one of the two following priority research areas:
French Indian call for joint research and innovation project proposals in « Green Hydrogen Innovations for Sustainable Energy Solutions » (GH2SES)
On 18 January 2024, at the second meeting of the Indo-French Joint Committee for Science and Technology (JCST) in Delhi, it was agreed that the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India would set up co-funded calls for research projects proposals to catalyse renewed and strengthened scientific cooperation between France and India.
