Webinar on the "Resilience in Rapidly Changing Arctic Systems" call for proposals

As research players, do you want to find out more about the goals, themes or eligibility criteria of the Belmont Forum international calls for proposals focusing on the Arctic region? An informative webinar for French teams will be held on Thursday 18 April 2019 between 10 am and 12 pm. Registration is open until 14 April 2019.

Launched by the Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies in the field of global environmental change, the "Resilience in Rapidly Changing Arctic Systems" call, in which the French National Research Agency (ANR) is a partner, supports the development and implementation of the seven interdependent elements of resilience defined by the Arctic Council. These are natural, social, financial, cultural and human capitals, infrastructure and knowledge.

Proposals must include expertise from researchers in at least the life and earth sciences, humanities and social sciences and from stakeholders (civil society, governments, the industrial sector, NGOs, indigenous organisations and local populations) and be submitted to the BFgo submission site by 11.59 pm UTC on Wednesday 14 June 2019.

A webinar will be organised on Thursday 18 April 2019 at 10 am to present the themes of the call, the partner countries, the terms of participation for French teams and the construction of research consortia and answer any questions. It will take place at: https://zoom.us/j/748109002

You can register using this form no later than 14 April 2019
