The 2nd transnational call for proposals on Emerging and Major Infectious Diseases of livestock through the ERA-Net EMIDA will open on March 7th, 2011.
French proposals should include one of the following specific activity lines:
- Ecology and animal health – diseases transmitted by arthropods
- Ecology and animal health – wildlife reservoirs of several infectious pathogens
- Zoonoses
- Antimicrobials and antihelmintics: resistance and alternatives for use
- Production diseases – disease susceptibility
- Production diseases – epidemiology, diagnostics and vaccination
- Diseases in aquaculture
- Epizootic diseases
Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve a minimum of three and a maximum of ten partners from at least three different participating countries (see list above).
It will be a two-stage procedure for joint applications: pre-proposals must be submitted by May 3rd 2011, 1PM (CET) and only eligible pre-proposals will be invited to submit a full proposal by September 7th 2011, 1 PM (CET).
Funding will be awarded for a maximum of three years. The ANR will fund only the French partners in the selected projects.
