Malaria Infectious Reservoir and Genomics: in search of elusive malaria parasites in the dry season – MIRaGe
I designed a longitudinal study in The Gambia that included a cohort of 42 volunteers with chronic malarial infections over the dry season. A total of 435 blood samples were collected, including time series of monthly samples from the same volunteers over a 6-month period. This dataset represents a unique opportunity to address novel questions about the parasite biology.

MArs Geophysical InSight – MAGIS
InSight is the first mission ever sent to an extra-terrestrial body (Mars) to enable the breakthroughs obtained on Earth after the 1889 first quake observation made by von Reuber-Pacshwitz which leads to the discovery of the Moho and core mantle boundary respectively by Mohorovicic, in 1910 and Oldham, in 1906. Its goal: just performing the first step of surface geophysics on the Red Planet with SEIS, the higly sensitive seismometer of the mission.
Lunar tidal Deformation from earth-based and orbital Laser Ranging – LDLR
This project aims at an improved and consistent determination of the tidal deformations of the Moon by a synthesis of the large amount of observation
obtained from Earth-based Lunar Laser Ranging (LLR) and laser altimetry (LA) from lunar orbit and modelings using different inner structure modelings and rheologies.
With a better understanding of the Moon deformations, one will have a better view on its inner structure.

Urea-Based Foldamers as Hydrogen-Bond Donor Catalysts for Molecular and Macromolecular Reactions
Looking for proteins regulating Peptidoglycan synthases – LookingForPegase
The characterization of the mode of action of the PBP regulators studied in this project will contribute to a better understanding of the inner-workings of bacterial cell morphogenesis. In applied terms, it will open new avenues towards the rational design of new antibacterial drugs and new strategies to combat bacterial infections, notably antibiotic resistant-strains.
Longitudinal survey on the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in healthcare workers – PSYCOVER
in mid-November 2020 (wave 1) and in mid-November 2021 (wave 2). Participants will then answer questions
Longitudinal study on ageing and social inequality – ELVIS
The project analyzes inequalities among different cohorts of older adults (aged 62 to 87) longitudinally according to gender, social background, career paths, family history, residential history, and migration history.
Longitudinal monitoring of Attitudes towards a VAccine against COVID-19. – SLAVACO
Our main objective is to monitor the French population’s attitudes toward a COVID-19 vaccinand their determinants (including socioeconomic status, attitudes toward science and health authorities but also vaccine-critical mobilisations), with a focus on their potential politicization. We assume that hostile attitudes toward this vaccine may reflect VH in specific groups of people, while in other groups, they may be rooted in anti-vaccination and/or conspiracy feelings.
