The French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) launch a Franco-German call for proposals in the field of chemistry. The aim of the call is to strengthen the collaborations between Germany and France in Chemistry and to promote joint projects which demonstrate a clear added value.
The scope of this joint research programme covers all areas of Chemistry.
The consortia must consist of at least one French and one German academic research group. The project duration is three years. Joint research proposals may be submitted by higher education institutions (Universities), non-University public research organizations, and for French partners also industry is possible and welcomed but not mandatory.
Projects will be evaluated by a joint Franco-German evaluation panel.
ANR finances the successful French applicants; DFG finances the successful German applicants independently according to existing national rules, regulations and funding procedures.
Proposals must be submitted in electronic form to ANR on the ANR-DFG chemistry call common electronic platform. The link to the submission site will be available by the end of January 2011.
