Sustainable and Transparent Battery Lifecycle Management through Enhanced Data Tracking and User Privacy in Electric Vehicles – Battl-EU

The project is set within the broader European context, with increasing regulatory and environmental pressure to improve battery management, particularly in the electric vehicle industry. Introducing a "battery passport" aligns with European Union initiatives to promote sustainability, transparency, and the circular economy. By tracking and recording critical data on battery health and performance, this passport will provide essential information for optimizing battery use, extending lifespan, and ensuring proper recycling. Using Dunasys' device, the project focuses on enhancing data collection and processing to offer insights on driving behavior, battery performance, and recycling efficiency. Methods involve optimizing data acquisition, assessing the impact of human behavior on battery health, and ensuring user privacy. Key development steps include a comprehensive state-of-the-art review, improving the Dunasys device, and creating a long-term battery passport system. Collaboration with additional partners will enhance project scope and expertise. The expected outcomes, including reduced battery wear, increased recycling efficiency, and improved user privacy management, aim to establish a new European standard for battery management systems, addressing both environmental and economic challenges.
