Université Paris Cité - Science With and For Society – 2025 – UPCiteSAPS2025

Abstract : The UPCiteSAPS2025 project is led by the Vice-President of Culture, Science and Society, and relies on the persons in charge of mediation, communication and dissemination of scientific culture at Université Paris Cité, in collaboration with the presidency, the direction of communication, central management, the three faculties, the IPGP and the Institut Pasteur. This project aims to stimulate interest in science and curiosity about scientific careers, especially for women, to promote the sharing of knowledge, exchanges between scientists and citizens, as well as knowledge of technological innovations having a strong societal impact, in order to allow everyone to take ownership of the challenges of scientific developments, and to develop critical thinking. This project will finance (1) the creation of the scientific mediation week, illustrating the educational innovations and research projects of excellence of Université Paris Cité, in the theme of planetary health, signature of the president's mandate Kaminski and as part of the 5th anniversary of the creation of the university. (2) The organization of Rencontres d’UPCité -Meetings, conferences, debates and workshops- filmed and rebroadcast, with media and institutional partnerships. The organization of the Festival CinéSciences, a scientific film festival. (3) The creation of a support unit for the popularization of innovative projects (research, teaching).
