SAPS-CSTI-Générique22 - Science avec et pour la société – Culture scientifique, technique et industrielle - AAPG2022 2024

Paris Sciences & Lettres Avec et Pour la Société – ANR22 – PSLAPS-ANR22

Submission summary

PSL University is a signatory to the charter of research and participatory sciences of March 20, 2017. PSL University obtained the Sciences Avec et Pour la Société label issued by the MESRI in 2021.

PSL University won the calls, opened in December 2021, November 2022 and April 2024, which concerned the projects (JCJC and PRC) funded under the AAPG 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 by proposing a set of concerted actions with the researchers concerned and developed in partnership with the Paris Center delegation of the CNRS.

This SAPS-CSTI-AAPG22 call targets projects funded (JCJC and PRC) under the AAPG 2022. We naturally propose to integrate the leaders of these projects with the leaders of the projects funded under the AAPG 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

This framework letter therefore takes up the proposals made in response to the SAPS-CSTI-AAPG18-19, SAPS-CSTI-AAPG20, and SAPS CSTI-AAPG21 calls by adjusting the budget to the volume of projects funded under the SAPS-CSTI-AAPG22 call.

The institutions carrying out ANR JCJC and PRC 2022 projects identified by the ANR, falling within the scope of PSL University are ENS-PSL (6 projects), Institut Curie (6 projects), ESPCI Paris-PSL (5 projects), Observatoires de Paris-PSL (1 project), Collége de France (6 projects), Mines Paris-PSL (1 project) and EPHE-PSL (2 projects). All have agreed that the response to the call for proposals be coordinated by the PSL University Knowledge Sharing mission. A strong dynamic accompanies the development of actions that combine Arts, Culture and Sciences at the PSL level, in particular with the upcoming integration of the two new component institutions: the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs and the Ecole Nationale d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais. PSL University and the CNRS Paris Centre delegation have agreed to coordinate their respective local actions based on their specific features and complementarities (see framework letter from the CNRS Paris Centre delegation).

The project is managed by the mission "Partage des Savoirs", the financial department and the communications department of PSL University. This team ensures monitoring of the quality of the project and expenditure. It relies as a scientific committee on the “PSL-Partage des Savoirs” WG. The steering structure interacts directly with the project coordinators, as it has begun to do, by ensuring local community management (i) through the working group, which includes a representative from each institution, (ii) by creating a dedicated action within the Partage des Savoirs network.

Several types of actions ranging from experimental conferences, to the animation of professional debates, through laboratory visits, a festival in collaboration with a Parisian cultural venue and an ambitious media plan, have already been proposed to project leaders.

All actions will be evaluated by the "PSL-Partage des Savoirs" working group on the basis of materials established by TRACES, CSTI partner of PSL.
