Ambition Dialogue REsearch Science Society PROVENCE and CORSE 2022 – ADRESS PROVENCE CORSE 22
The ADRESS PROVENCE ET CORSE 22 project proposes to carry out scientific mediation actions following a multi-dispositive valorization scheme for identified scientific projects (research projects supported by the ANR as part of the SAPS-CSTI Générique22 call for projects).
Projects are promoted using a range of formats to reach different audiences:
- Event branding "Les échappées inattendues du CNRS" : large-scale debates, micro-conferences, immersive conferences, demo conferences.
- "Les Visites insolites du CNRS"
- Speed-searching
- Photo reportage
- Scientific articles
- Design and production of mediation material
- Science films
- Workshops for schoolchildren
- Conference during "Brain Week"
Based on maximum synergy between scientists and communication and mediation professionals, and on a solid national and local structure, these actions will be steered and implemented by the communication department of the CNRS Provence and Corsica delegation, with support from the relevant departments of the CNRS communication division.
The aim of these scientific mediation initiatives is to :
- Promote research projects supported by the ANR, drawing on the CNRS's national mediation structure,
- Highlight research players and encourage synergies with communication and mediation professionals in their shared mission of sharing and disseminating research results for the benefit of society,
- Demonstrate the multidisciplinary nature of scientific work,
- Enable different audiences to appropriate these data to inform their choices as individuals and citizens,
- Highlight research that contributes to the advancement of science and to economic, social and cultural progress, with a view to enhancing the attractiveness of the region.
47 projects will be showcased, revealing the wealth of excellent scientific topics being tackled in Provence and Corsica : from neuroscience to theoretical physics, from acoustics to photonics, from astronomy to sustainable regional development. Photo exhibitions, unusual laboratory tour, debates, micro-conferences, demo conferences and immersive conferences, workshops for schoolchildren, scientific articles, science films projection and speed-searching will provide exceptional experiences and opportunities for all audiences to immerse themselves in "science in progress".
