New Opportunities of Spreading Science – NEOSS@UB22

The challenges and objectives of the NEOSS@UB22 project are to respond to the needs of the region in terms of disseminating scientific culture and understanding the major challenges facing society; to legitimise the method of scientific expertise (which has been undermined by the health crisis); opening up science, its questions, methods and objects, to the contribution and discussion of non-academic players, so that everyone can reappropriate the challenges and benefits of research and innovation.

To make project sponsors aware of the importance of making research accessible to society, personalised one-to-one meetings will be offered to project sponsors and their teams. These meetings will provide tailor-made support and an opportunity to discuss mediation practices adapted to research themes, with the aim of making these practices sustainable beyond the three years of the NEOSS@UB22 project.
