The Éclaireuses: the Exhibition project — through photographic portraits — highlights the journeys of women scientists from diverse countries and fields, who, through their expertise and commitment, contribute to progress on global issues related to the environment, health, and society.
Through this initiative, the IRD emphasizes its international partnerships founded on cooperation and knowledge-sharing, while reaffirming its commitment to gender equality in the scientific field. The exhibition targets a wide audience and aims to raise awareness on issues of gender and sustainable development, while showcasing women’s contributions to scientific research.
With high-quality portraits and a contemporary graphic identity, Éclaireuses: the Exhibition offers a visual experience that promotes a balanced representation of women and men in science, in pursuit of a more equitable and sustainable society.
