Illustrated exhibition of the scientific results of USPN-3 – EUREKA-3
The Sorbonne Paris Nord University (USPN) is a major teaching and research centre located north of Paris. It has five campuses, spread over the two departments of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val d'Oise: Villetaneuse, Bobigny, Saint-Denis, la Plaine Saint-Denis and Argenteuil. It is a founding member of the Condorcet Campus, one of the world's leading research centres in the humanities and social sciences, and of the Sorbonne Paris-Cité alliance.
USPN is a university with a strong diversity in research, education and in a rapidly changing territory. It takes its place in the national and international scientific landscape, and is also an actor of and in its territory. The appointment of a Science With and For Society (SAPS) officer in September 2022 affirms the commitment of the USPN to strengthen the dialogue with the territory, by being a force of proposal in its environment and by initiating concrete actions. The SAPS mission is built around four axes: mediation, training, network animation and the organisation of federative events.
In 2020, two USPN teacher-researchers were winners of the ANR's generic call for projects. The 2020 generic CSTI call for projects has made it possible to finance the start of a collection of comics on research carried out at the university. Given the success of this first edition, we have applied to the ANR for the second edition of EUREKA, which will start in January 2025. Following on from these projects, we would now like to publish two new comic strips to showcase the ANR projects won by our researchers in 2022.
