A structured range of scientific outreach activities to promote research projects in digital science – MediaStruc
The aim of MediaStruc is to offer a diversified but structured range of science outreach
programmes to the teams involved in the winning Inria ANR projects in 2021. To achieve this, the
project will draw heavily on the expertise and networks for disseminating scientific culture in the
digital sciences of its network of partners throughout France.
More specifically, the programmes will be of 2 types. The first concerns resources intended to be used
by the public, independently, anywhere : written articles, audio podcasts, television programmes,
online puzzles and games, and comic strips. The second type concerns resources and actions to be
carried out in a group, with the support of a researcher or university professor, educator or science
teacher. These include debates on a science-society topic, exhibitions and interactive low-tech objects,
science festivals and meetings to promote science and scientific careers, particularly among women.
