CURIEUX de l’ANR – CURIEUX
As part of the initiative in response to the call for SAPS-CSTI-Générique21 projects, the aim is to extend the actions undertaken as part of the SAPS labelling by producing videos to highlight two ANR projects: "MECERAMECO" directed by Julie Bourret, and "METAMORPH" directed by Thomas Fromenteze. These popular science videos will be produced in collaboration with CURIEUX Live. Curieux! is an information portal that intrudes into our daily lives to demystify concepts, sort out the real from the fake and stimulate curiosity. It is run by the NACSTI association (Nouvelle Aquitaine Culture Scientifique Technique Industrielle), whose founding members include Cap Sciences (Bordeaux), Espace Mendès France (Poitiers), Lacq Odyssée (Mourenx) and Récréasciences (Limoges).
The aim is to make the research carried out in the projects supported by the ANR in 2021 accessible to a wide audience. In addition, it aims to promote a positive image of the scientific excellence represented by the two ANR projects supported in 2021, which are both accessible and at the cutting edge of research in various scientific disciplines. More broadly, the aim is to stimulate the interest of young people who are already aware of the sciences, so that they will consider careers in science and, possibly, encourage vocations, particularly among young girls.
