Ambition Dialogue REsearch Science Society PROVENCE and CORSE 2021 – ADRESS PROVENCE ET CORSE 21

The ADRESS PROVENCE ET CORSE 21 project proposes to carry out scientific outreach activities in line with the structuring national scheme developed by the CNRS: "Les échappées inattendues du CNRS", "Les visites insolites du CNRS" and photo reports will highlight the issues, methods and results of scientific research projects supported by the ANR.

Based on maximum synergy between scientists and communication and mediation professionals, and on a solid national and local structure, these actions will be steered and implemented by the communication department of the CNRS Provence and Corsica delegation, with support from the relevant departments of the CNRS communication division.

The aim of these scientific outreach initiatives is to :
- Promote research projects supported by the ANR using the CNRS's national mediation structure,
- Highlight research players and encourage synergies with communication and mediation professionals in their common mission of sharing and disseminating research results for the benefit of society,
- Demonstrate the multidisciplinary nature of scientific work,
- Enabling the public at large to make the most of this data to inform their choices as individuals and citizens,
- Highlighting research that contributes to the advancement of science and to economic, social and cultural progress, with a view to enhancing the attractiveness of the region.

30 projects will be showcased, revealing the wealth of scientific excellence being leaded in Provence and Corsica, from neuroscience to physics, paleontology and microbiology. Photo exhibitions, unusual labtours, debates, microlectures, demo lectures and immersive virtual reality lectures will all provide exceptional experiences and opportunities for the public to get immersed in science in progress.
