Transport in Membrane Processes – TMP
Membrane processes are the fastest-growing processes in the world, and the activities of the Membrane Processes Team (EPM) of the Mechanics, Modeling and Clean Processes Laboratory (M2P2) are no exception to this trend, with increasing contract activity over the past 15 years, many publications, scientific recognition with publications cited more than 3,000 times, and lot of industrial developments. Mass transfer through membranes will be addressed within the framework of this PRME project through 3 key scientific issues that have emerged over the years/studies. Mass transfer will be studied by taking into account energy transfer, the production of fouling compounds during filtration, or particles of micro or nano metric sizes identical to pore size. All 7 EPM researchers are involved in this project, in the firm belief that the knowledge gained from each study will not only be of use to others but will also provide a better understanding of future EPM studies. Obtaining this PRME will enable EPM to reach on ambitious and innovative scientific objectives. The PRME is supported by Philippe Moulin and EPM team which both have all the skills and know-how required to achieve these ambitious and innovative objectives.
