Within the framework of the industrial development of Ethiopia, this project aims to accompany the SMiE in a technological leap allowing it to train technicians and industrial experts able to disseminate the new technologies related to the industry 4.0. Two main axes are envisaged:
- The creation of a master level training;
- The installation of a technological platform for the dissemination of technological content;
Eventually, Ethiopia will have the human and technological resources for R&D, to design clean products and increase the performance of production as well as the quality of manufactured products. The integration of Industry 4.0 in the advanced manufacturing system is therefore an important factor that is part of the government plans related to the development of the manufacturing industry.
