Jules Vuillemin's Published and Unpublished Works – VUILLEMIN

This project aims at highlighting Jules Vuillemin's work by contributing to the diffusion of his texts which are unpublished or too hard to find. This work will take place in four parts.

1.The publication, by the French a publisher Vrin, of all published articles of Vuillemin, most of which can not be found (2000 pages). This work wil include a biography and notices for each article written by thirty invited specialists.

2. The creation of an hypertext edition of the unpublished manuscript of the second volume of Vuillemin's "Philosophy of Algebra". This manuscript is complete and is very precious to help scolars understand both the first volume, published in 1962, and Vuillemin's later work. The conclusions of the scientification exploration of this text will be published.

3. The French translation and the publication of Vuillemin's book « What Are Philosophical Systems? » (1986), with a detailed introduction.

4. Diffusion of the works : two workshops, one conference, an online publication of the catalogue of the Archives Jules-Vuillemin.
