Catalyseurs du ruthenium(II) et fonctionalisation de liaisons C-H – RuCHCAT
The development of new catalytic systems able to perform C-C coupling by C-H bond activation without using organometallic intermediates represents the objective of this project. This method will make possible the selective functionalization of sp2 carbon atoms of aromatic substrates, heterocycles, and olefins, with atom economy. Based on promising preliminary results, the project includes the preparation of new catalysts based on ruthenium and the understanding of reaction mechanisms by means of electrochemistry and theory. The direct synthesis of target molecules such as functional heterocycles and the modification of ligands for asymmetric catalysis, will be considered as valuable applications.
