A Longitudinal Analysis of Effects of Early Life Exposure to Phenols on Health in Humans – SHALCOH
Etude de l'effet de l'exposition aux phénols, des perturbateurs endocriniens peu persistants dans l'organisme, sur la croissance du foetus et la santé respiratoire du nouveau-né dans la cohorte couple-enfants iséroise Sépages
An innovative therapeutic strategy to treat residual sleepiness in narcolepsy – NarConX
The NarConX project is an industrial research project coordinated by Theranexus. It also associates the Collège de France, INSERM and the Center of Neuroscience Research in Lyon. The project started in October 2014 and lasted 60 months. It benefited from ANR assistance of 924 k€.
Appel à Projets Transnational pour la recherche sur la "Neuroinflammation" dans le cadre de l'ERA-NET NEURON II
diseases in which neuroinflammation constitutes a relevant process of the pathology. One of the aims
Assessing long term effects of invasive tree species on the protective function of forests against rockfall in Switzerland and France: the case of Ailanthus altissima (tree of heaven) – ALIEN
Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, commonly known as tree of heaven, is a deciduous tree native to China. In the last decades it has become invasive in forests in the southern parts of the Alps. Many of these forests have a protection function against rockfall. The expansion of Ailanthus altissima in protection forests poses questions on the future development and stability of the affected forest stands and their protective capacity.
Boosting up attention – Booster
Attention is the key to successful perception, action, learning, or decision making, but it is prone to failure. BOOSTER explores the behavioral determinants and neuronal markers of the attention-boosting effect of noradrenergic agents. Its ambitions are to shed new light on the neural bases of normal attention and to suggest ways towards a safe pharmacology of attention to be applied in both disease (hemineglect and ADHD) and health (for cognitive enhancement of normal subjects).
Boson Localization in Disordered Spin Systems – BOLODISS
Putting together nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment and advanced numerical theoretical methods to understand the microscopic nature of a “Bose-glass” phase in one of its very rare thermodynamic-size representatives: Br-doped DTN, a disordered antiferromagnetic quantum spin compound.
Catalytic conversion of lignin into biofuels by task-specific poly(ionic liquids)-supported metallic nanoparticles – CATAPILS
This project was dedicated to the preparation of versatile catalysts based on polymerized ionic liquids (PILs)-stabilized nanoparticles, taking advantage of the specific properties of PILs to modulate the catalytic properties on transformations relevant to lignin valorization.
Cities and Energy Transitions: issues, instruments, processes, and multidisciplinary prospective evaluation. The case of the Ile-de-France Region. – VITE !
these energy transition strategies. Taking the Ile-de-France as a test bed, and based on the long-term [...] have already been validated for the study on the Ile-de-France region. The sociospatial and environmental [...] interactions with local actors will ensure both the relevance of the energy scenarios studied in the project
Class and gendered childhoods: early socializations under multiple constraints of 5-6 year old children – PRIMSOC
Early socializations of children in their last year of nursery school / Our research focuses on the social differentiation of socializations during early childhood. The times of primary socialization play indeed a decisive part in the social shaping of individuals, in the constitution of the first mental and behavioural dispositions (dispositions to believe, appreciate, feel, think, and to act) which have lasting effects
Control of cell size and division – CellSize
A long standing biological question is how cells sense their size and coordinate it with cell divisionet . We have described a new pathway controlling cell size at division in fission yeast relying on a spatial gradient of Pom1/DYRK kinase that influences the activity of a Wee1 regulatory pathway for mitotic entry controlled by Cdr2/SAD kinase. How Pom1-Cdr2 module functions in molecular terms is not yet understood. Moreover, other cell size sensors may function in parallel.
