Parity Non-Conservation in Molecular Systems – NCPCHEM
Chiral molecules can not be superimposed on their mirror image, but are thought to have identical physical and chemical properties. However, a group of researchers are now hunting for a tiny, but important energy difference between left- and right-handed molécules, arising from the weak force of Nature.
Performance and Behavior at the nanoscale of new efficient and environmentally Friendly nanolubricants – BeFriend

Pesticide mix and the hepato-brain axis: role of xenobiotic nuclear receptors – HepatoBrain
Until now the majority of in vivo studies have examined episodes of acute intoxications when sudden neurological symptoms arise. Our research focuses on the mechanisms and the effects of exposure to low-dose pesticide cocktails during a life time, a matter of contemporary and active discussion.

Phenotypic plasticity and social life facilitate the evolution of new phenotypes in ants – ANTEVO
Ants have evolved an exceptional diversity of castes (winged queens, wingless queens, workers, soldiers, …) from an ancestrally homogeneous system. We study the developmental and evolutionary mechanisms involved, with special focus on developmental anomalies and social life.

Phosphasalen oxidized complexes – PsalenOx
How may the presence of phosphorus in the backbone of the ligand influence the nature of oxidized complexes ? Phosphasalens can be viewed as phosphorous analogues of salens featuring two phenoxides and two iminophoshoranes which are highly electron-donating. A precise description of the electronic structure of the oxidized complexes is targeted, as well as the stabilization of oxo complexes, which are relatively rare in salen chemistry (except the chromium case).
