M-ERA.NET Call 2025/26 - Materials Science and Engineering for innovation in Europe
More than 30 funding agencies participate in the M-ERA.NET Call 2025 (edition 2026 for ANR) to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation supporting the European Green Deal and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Joint laboratories between research organizations and SMEs or intermediate-sized enterprises (Labcom) Call for proposals 2025
The purpose of this program is to encourage research actors to create new structured partnerships through the creation of "Joint Laboratories" between a SME or an intermediate-sized enterprise and a research laboratory. A Joint Laboratory is defined by the signing of a contract defining its operation, including:
First transnational call for project "Long-term Joint Europe-Africa Research and Innovation Projects on Sustainable Energy" (LEAP-SE)
The joint LEAP-SE 2025 call is the first call of the COFUND LEAP-SE, cofunded by the European Commission as part of the Horizon Europe programme. For France, the ANR is participating in the financing of this call, jointly with the ARI (Agence Régionale de l'Innovation - La Réunion).
Call for research projects Ecophyto Maturation - ECOM 2025
To contribute to achieving the goals of the Ecophyto 2030 Strategy by building on research outcomes, the Ministries responsible for research (MESR), agriculture (MASAF), ecological transition (MTEECPR), and health (MSA) are launching the fourth edition of the "Ecophyto Maturation" (ECOM) call for projects. Managed by the ANR and co-financed by the OFB, this programme promotes the emergence of innovative, operational, and deployable solutions to reduce the use and impact of pesticides.
Belmont Forum - RESILIENCE: Vulnerability and resilience management for socio-environmental systems in exposed territories
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding organizations of which ANR is a member, is launching a call for proposals in the area of risk science. Belmont Forum - OCEAN 2: Towards the Ocean We Want - Biodiversity and Ecosystem Sustainability for Nature and Human Well-being
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding organizations of which ANR is a member, is launching a call for proposals in the area of oceanic science. The call, entitled “OCEAN 2: Towards the Ocean We Want : Biodiversity and Ecosystem Sustainability for Nature and Human Well-being”, aims at coordinating actions and projects through a transdisciplinary approach, fostering co-creation, co-design, and co-implementation of innovative solutions to address global environmental challenges related to the ocean, its biodiversity from genes to ecosystems.
African-European call for proposals "Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa (CS4RRA)" – 2026
Funding agencies from Europe and Africa and JPI Climate are launching an international call for proposals to fund research projects and innovation, “Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa”. The overall strategic aim of the CS4RRA initiative is to develop pathways to climate-resilience in Western Africa by contributing to long-term multinational cooperation.
4th transnational call for proposals 2024 of the European Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP)
The fourth Joint Call 2025 of the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership), co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme, brings together over 35 funding agencies from 28 countries. This coordinated effort aims to support innovative projects that advance the energy transition. In France, the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Pays de la Loire Region Council are participating of this call.
