In the context of ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 (JPND), ANR launches a joint transnational call with the aim of improving the understanding of disease mechanisms and advancing measurability of disease progression at early and pre-symptomatic stages of neurodegenerative diseases.

The ANR participates in the 14th call of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium (European coordinated research on long-term ICT and ICT-based scientific Challenges) bringing together 20 countries, with a budget of 11,56M€.
2nd transnational call for proposals 2023 of the European Clean Energy Transition Partnership - CETP
The CETPartnership Joint Call 2023 is the second annual co-funded call under the CETPartnership and is co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme. For France, the ANR participates to the funding of this call with ADEME and the Pays de la Loire Region.
A bilateral call for proposals on the "Development of the hydrogen pathway for the future energy mix"
The BMBF and the MESR (via ANR) will launch a call for proposals on the “Development of the hydrogen pathway for the future energy mix. In line with the respective national strategies to accelerate the development and deployment of clean hydrogen technologies both France and Germany have adopted, The German (BMBF) and French (MESR) ministries of research have decided to launch a joint call on key challenges toward the deployment of the hydrogen economy where the bilateral cooperation provides especial added value.
Call for proposals : ACCESS ERC STARTING GRANTS 2024
The purpose of the ACCESS ERC call is to support young talents in the preparation of an application to the ERC Starting Grants call, by enabling them to strengthen their CVs, so that they could be competitive in this specific call. The Access ERC programme consists in financing two-year (24 months) post-doctoral contracts for young PhDs hosted in French research labs.

Call for proposals on Specific Topics in Artificial Intelligence - TSIA 2024
Since its 2012 revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) has been introduced at the core of digital solutions and continues to evolve rapidly. These recent developments are notable, both at the core of AI and in its interactions with other research fields. Following the first national AI plan, a broad consultation of economic and academic stakeholders, showed that new topics of strategic importance continued to emerge. The call for proposals on specific topics in artificial intelligence (TSIA) operated by the ANR is defined to develop multidisciplinary projects and encourage AI research collaborations in the following specific themes:
Climat, Environment and Health 2 - Belmont Forum 2023
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, is launching a call aiming at improving understanding among the climate, environment, and health pathways to protect and promote ecological, planetary, and human health in the face of climate challenges. Multilateral, inter-, and transdisciplinary research projects will investigate issues that impede policy implementation; address complex climate, ecosystem, and health pathways to determine processes underlying causal links; capacity development and collaboration across relevant disciplines and institutions; and foster the use of international scientific databases with local knowledge to develop climate-related decision support tools to better inform planning, resilience, and adaptation to climate change.
Ecological connectivity to maximise biodiversity conservation between marine protected areas in the Southwest Indian Ocean - SIOMPA 2023
The Southwest Indian Ocean (SWIO) basin is a globally recognized hotspot of endemism and biodiversity. It is home to many spatially fragmented Marine Protected Areas (MPA), which are essential in maintaining marine ecosystems. A crucial element, which requires further investigation, is the ecological connectivity, often highlighted in the design of MPAs and the guarantees of conservation success.
