2nd transnational call for proposals 2023 of the European Clean Energy Transition Partnership - CETP

The CETPartnership Joint Call 2023 is the second annual co-funded call under the CETPartnership and is co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme. For France, the ANR participates to the funding of this call with ADEME and the Pays de la Loire Region.

Context

The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a transnational initiative on joint Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) programming to boost and accelerate the energy transition, building upon regional and national RTDI funding programmes (national agencies, regions…).

Scope and topics of the call

The Second CETP Call will be structured into 12 thematic call modules, arising from 7 Transition Initiatives (TRI) related to the major challenges to favour the clean energy transition.

ANR, ADEME and the Pays de Loire Region will fund some of these call modules, as indicated in the table below. The French and Loire applicants will be funded only in the call modules where ANR, ADEME et Pays de Loire Region are positioned on.

A project consortium must be built of at least three independent legal entities (i.e. at least one Coordinator and two other Beneficiary Partners) applying and deemed eligible for funding by relevant national/regional Funding Organisations from at least three different countries participating in the Call. Of these three entities, at least two must be from EU Member States or HE Associated Countries.

Partners of the selected proposals will be funded directly by their respective national or regional agencies. As a result, national/regional regulations apply in addition to joint call rules.
