INDUSTRIAL CHAIRS - 2024
The aim of this program is threefold: To conduct and structure scientific research in strategic and priority areas via an effective and lasting partnership between public and private organisms.
Nano and advanced technologies for disease prevention, diagnostic and therapy (NANOTECMEC) – ERA4Health 2024
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with fifteen countries (Austria, Belgium- including Wallonia-Brussels, Flanders-, Estonia, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain -including region of Andalusia-, Taiwan, the Netherlands) is launching the novel international call for projects on health and wellbeing under the umbrella of the Partnership ERA4Health (“Fostering a European Research Area for Health”).The total budget for this action is about of 18.5 million euros.
JPcofuND 2 Working groups “Use of digital technologies in neurodegenerative disease research and clinical practice”
The ANR launches in collaboration with the ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 a rapid action call for leading scientists to establish a number of ambitious, innovative, multi-disciplinary and multi-national expert Working Groups dedicated to assess the current and future impact of digital technologies on research and care in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.
Impacts of helminth disease and climate change on livestock health, together with development of control strategies such as novel vaccine and diagnostic - ERA-NET ICRAD 2023
The overall objective of this research call is to increase understanding and preparedness for impending effects on animal health and the livestock industry caused by climate change and spread of anthelmintic resistance. This includes basic research to better understand mechanisms behind these topics or applied development of detection, management, intervention and prevention strategies.
Modulation of brain ageing through nutrition and healthy lifestyle (NutriBrain) – ERA4Health 2024
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with twenty countries (Austria, Belgium- including Wallonia-Brussels, Flanders-,Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain -including region of Andalusia-, Switzerland and Taiwan and Türkye) is launching the novel international call health and wellbeing under the umbrella of the Partnership ERA4Health (“Fostering a European Research Area for Health”).The total budget for this action is of about 19 million euros.
Generic call for proposals – AAPG 2024
The Generic Call for Proposals 2024 (AAPG 2024) is the French National Research Agency’s (ANR) main call. All scientific communities and all public and private actors involved in French research are concerned. It should allow researchers from different scientific fields to access, in addition to the recurrent funding allocated to them, co-funding on a large number of research themes, whether finalized or not.
The 2024 Call for Proposals ASTRID : Specific support for Defence Projects and Innovation : Maturation and valorisation
The French National Research Agency (ANR) will soon launch, in partnership with the Defense Innovation Agency (AID), a national competence service under the responsibility of the General Delegate for Armament (DGA), the 2024 edition of ASTRID Maturation call for proposal. This program, funded by the AID, is hosted by the ANR which ensures its operation.
Transnational call: Interventions Moving forward to Promote ACTion to counteract the emergence and spread of bacterial and fungal resistance and to improve treatments (IMPACT-JPIAMR2024)
The French National Research Agency (ANR) is participating in an international call for projects launched by JPIAMR and by the ERA-NET JPIAMR-ACTION. The call involves 21 funding organizations from 19 countries. The total call budget is about 19 million euros. Proposals will be evaluated in two steps (pre-proposal/ full proposal).
Climat, Environment and Health 2 - Belmont Forum 2023
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, is launching a call aiming at improving understanding among the climate, environment, and health pathways to protect and promote ecological, planetary, and human health in the face of climate challenges. Multilateral, inter-, and transdisciplinary research projects will investigate issues that impede policy implementation; address complex climate, ecosystem, and health pathways to determine processes underlying causal links; capacity development and collaboration across relevant disciplines and institutions; and foster the use of international scientific databases with local knowledge to develop climate-related decision support tools to better inform planning, resilience, and adaptation to climate change.
Call for Proposals for Multinational and Translational Research Projects on Bidirectional Brain-Body Interactions
The ANR is joining forces with the ERA-NET NEURON COFUND 2 to launch a call for projects aimed at gaining a better understanding of the role of bidirectional interactions between the central nervous system and the body in neurological and psychiatric diseases.
