PRIMA – Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area call for proposals - Section 2
PRIMA Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda identified 12 priorities for facing Mediterranean challenges related to Water management, Farming systems and Agro-food chains. In this context, ANR participates to the 2021 Section 2 joint transnational call for proposals to fund innovative research projects addressing the following 3 topics and the cross cutting issues among them:
M-era.Net - From materials science and engineering to innovation for Europe
In the framework of ERA-NET Cofund M-era.Net, the French National Research Agency (ANR), in partnership with 50 funding agencies from 36 different countries, launches a new call for projects on materials science and engineering: M-ERA.NET 2021 (2022 edition for the ANR).
T-AP “Recovery, Renewal and Resilience in a Post-Pandemic World (RRR)” Call
ANR and the Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) for Social Sciences and Humanities are issuing a third joint research call on Recovery, Renewal and Resilience in a Post-Pandemic World (RRR).

ANR is associated with the new European Partnership Biodiversa+ to launch the first international call for proposals, Biodiversa+ 2021-2022, on the thematic: "Supporting the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems across land and sea".
Setting up International Scientific Networks for the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance - JPIAMR-ACTION 2022
The French National Research Agency is joining the fifteenth call for proposals launched by the JPIAMR. This call will support the setting of international networks aiming to improve the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The total budget for this action will be of one million of euros.
The nutrition-responsiveness of the immune system: interplay between infectious diseases and diet-related metabolic diseases and the potential for food-based solutions (NUTRIMMUNE) 2022
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with Seven countries (Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and United Kingdom) is launching a call, named NUTRIMMUNE, for proposals under the JPI HDHL. The initiative aims to promote international research on nutrition and health. The global budget for this action will be of 8,27 millions of euros.
International call on Computational Neuroscience – NEUC 2022
ANR launches in collaboration with NSF, DOE and NIH (USA), BSF (Israel) and NICT (Japan) a call for research and data sharing projects in computational neuroscience.
2022 Joint FACCE-JPI and Suscrop call for proposals on Agrobiodiversity
Both initiatives FACCE-JPI and SusCrop have identified and flagged “Agrobiodiversity” as a key topic to promote and sustainable and resilient crop production in agriculture. Therefore, FACCE-JPI and SusCrop have decided to join forces to put in place a joint Call for research projects addressing agrobiodiversity, with the following purpose:
Transnational Call for Proposals « Urban transformation capacities »
In the framework of the ERA-NET “Urban transformation capacities”, ANR is launching, in collaboration with 15 other partners from 13 European countries, a call for proposals, co-financed by the European Commission, to invite researchers, urban government authorities, – including cities and municipalities, – businesses, civil society and other stakeholders to build transnational consortia to create innovation and research projects that enable and support capacity building for urban transformations.
Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy - EIG CONCERT-Japan - 2022
The European Interest Group (EIG) CONCERT-Japan is an international joint initiative aiming at support and enhance science, technology and innovation (STI) cooperation between European countries and Japan. Former ERA-NET program from 2011 to 2014, EIG CONCERT-Japan works as an independent collaboration since 2015. Within EIG CONCERT-Japan, the French National Research Agency (ANR), together with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and 13 other European partners, launches the international joint research call « Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy ». This call is supported by 13 agencies located in the following countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
