This call will support the setting of international networks aiming to improve the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The total budget for this action will be of one million of euros.
The nutrition-responsiveness of the immune system: interplay between infectious diseases and diet-related metabolic diseases and the potential for food-based solutions (NUTRIMMUNE) 2022
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with Seven countries (Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and United Kingdom) is launching a call, named NUTRIMMUNE, for proposals under the JPI HDHL. The initiative aims to promote international research on nutrition and health. The global budget for this action will be of 8,27 millions of euros.
JPcofuND 2. Understanding the mechanisms of non-pharmacological intervention
The ANR launches in collaboration with the ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 a joint call to support multinational, collaborative research projects aiming at improving the understanding of the mechanisms and biological substrates that underlie non-pharmacological interventions in order to tailor a holistic personalized treatment approach. Several non-pharmacological interventions have been shown to be effective and accepted by the patients. Such interventions may include, among others, psychosocial interventions, neuromodulation, nutrition or exercise. However, there is yet little knowledge about the mechanisms of non-pharmacological interventions, e. g. on the molecular or cellular level.
Disrupting drug Resistance using Innovative Design (JPIAMR-DRUID)
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with seventeen countries (Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom) is launching the fourteenth call for proposals under the umbrella of the JPIAMR. The initiative aims to promote international research on antimicrobial resistance. The total budget for this action is 18.9 million euros.
Sargassum 2 Joint call 2021: Understanding and predicting Sargassum Blooms
Prior to 2010, Sargassum brown algae bloomed only in the tropical North Atlantic, in the Sargasso Sea. Currently, it has been observed on the Brazilian coast, as far as the Mexican coast and throughout the Caribbean Sea. At the same time, in the western Atlantic, it is flourishing on the African coasts, from Sierra Leone to Ghana, creating the Atlantic Sargassum Green Belt (ASGB) with possible continuity between the eastern and western parts. Questions of the influence of climate change on modifications in hydrodynamic conditions in the equatorial zone and possibly on changing wind and precipitation drift patterns and associated rivers inputs are not elucidated in relation to the increase and geographic shift in ASGB.
Multinational and translational research projects on Cerebrovascular Diseases including Small Vessels and Brain Barriers Dysfunction - ERA NET Neuron - 2022
The aim of the call is to fund multinational, collaborative research projects that will address important translational questions in the areas of stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases including small vessels disease (CSVD) and the dysfunction of brain barriers.
German-French joint call for proposals on Artificial Intelligence - 2022
France and Germany have reaffirmed their desire to create a common ecosystem in artificial intelligence in order to set up new collaborative projects. By signing a joint declaration of intent on the creation of a "Research and Innovation Network in Artificial Intelligence", they are joining forces based on their national strategies in order to create the best conditions for the emergence of new cooperation projects in research and industry.
Integrated Approaches to Human Migration/Mobility in an Era of Rapid Global Change - Belmont Forum 2022
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, launches a call aimed at fostering integrated systems approach on migration and mobility and its intersection with Global Change. In order to facilitate the constitution of transnational and transdisciplinary research consortia meeting the call’s eligibility requirements, the Belmont Forum invites prospective applicants to register and participate in several capacity building and networking events which will take place between February and June. Following an extension of the deadline, applicants must submit their proposals by 12 August 2022, 22:00 CEST.
1st joint call Chlordecone
Chlordecone is a pesticide used in Guadeloupe and Martinique from 1972 to 1993 to control the banana weevil. This molecule (and its secondary metabolites) is toxic to humans and causes lasting pollution of water, soil and food chains.
