Cooperation in Conflict Zones – COOPCONFLICT
The effectiveness of military operations in conflict zones relies crucially on the cooperation of different actors with diverging interests and incentives. These actors include the civilian population, local government officials, as well as foreign and domestic security forces. My research uses new, granular data on violence in Afghanistan and India study the cooperation between these actors in conflict zones.

Cultural participatory platforms. Collaborative creation, documentation and enhancement of cultures and heritage – COLLABORA
In recent years, cultural institutions have shown growing interest in the creation of participatory approaches and in the role that digital technologies could play in their mediation and promotion activities. The COLLABORA project aims to develop a theoretical, empirical and political reflection on new digital platforms contributing to the creation, documentation and promotion of cultures and heritage.
Cultural policies, local heritage and collaborative approaches in Eastern Insulindia – POPEI-coll

Data to Knowledge in Agriculture and Biodiversity – D2KAB
D2KAB implements processes to extract and formalize knowledge – semantically rich, interoperable, open – from agronomy/agriculture and biodiversity/ecology data (data to knowledge). The project also studies scientific methods and tools to exploit and disseminate this knowledge in different scenarios in agriculture or biodiversity.
Data-based engineering science and technology of polymers and filled polymers – Data-BEST
The polymer industry is typically facing these new challenges for the production of new materials with new functional and integrated properties in different domains of applications. Nowadays, although
Design of Photosensitizers based on a Singlet Oxygen Reservoir for Antibacterial Applications – CaROS
Singlet oxygen is an excited state of molecular oxygen which has found valuable applications in synthetic chemistry, materials science and photomedicine such as antibacterial photodynamic therapy (APDT). Photosensitizers containing a molecular architecture able to trap, store and release singlet oxygen are highly expected to overcome the challenge of oxygen depletion in APDT. The aim of CaROS project is to prepare a new family of photosensitizers based on reversible singlet oxygen binding.
