Strategies for desealing soils in urban areas: stakeholder co-construction method – PERMEPOLIS
Based on a framework built jointly with all the stakeholders involved, the PerméPolis project (2024-2028) aims to draw on all relevant technical, regulatory and social information in order to develop an effective strategy for soil desealing (i.e. removing impermeable surfaces) in urbanised areas. The project takes into account the various urban planning and environmental regulations, the different benefits and risks associated with desealing, and the different points of view of stakeholders.
Stereotype threat and aggressive reaction – STAR
The present research aims to investigate the link between stereotype threat and aggression. Is aggression a possible consequence of stereotype threat? If yes, is aggression likely to be observed among members of groups stereotyped as relatively more aggressive or among all individuals? Furthermore, the present research will try to shed light on underlying mechanisms explaining the effect of stereotype threat on aggression, namely aggressive thoughts, emotions, and self-regulation.
Stattistics, computation and Artificial Intelligence – SCAI
The key factor for the recent boom in AI is the emergence of deep learning (DL). The successes of these methods - in particular, for supervised learning- are amazing. But the limits and some of the do

Stabilization process in marine surface robotics inspired by swimming snakes – SSSNAEQ
A new generation of robots inspired by the swimming of aquatic snakes has recently emerged in academic contexts. Thanks to their exceptional manoeuvrability, they could intervene urgently in complex situations. However, despite this potential, their surface stability is too precarious. The SSSNAEQ project aims to remove the scientific barriers to surface instability by taking inspiration from snakes,
