Mixed Research Community on Mental health Peer-support – CMR-PASM
considered as an evidence-based practice (Evans et al., 2021). In France, data are even rarer, limiting the
Mixed (Anti)Aromaticity, Unorthodox Interactions and Topologies – MixAr
The MixAr project aims at expanding the knowledge concerning antiaromaticity. Our approach explores the mixing of (anti)aromaticity, unorthodox interactions and topologies following 3 main axes: the study of “mixed (anti)aromaticity” with antiaromatic species forced to “interact” with each-others or with aromatic ones. Probe “unorthodox interactions” of molecules with antiaromatic 4n p-system to target antiaromatic catalysis. Access to “[4n+2] Möbius antiaromaticity”, of fundamental interest.
Mitochondrial and protease dysfunction in progeroid Cockayne syndrome cells and during age-associated processes – CS_AGE
Understanding the molecular defects responsible for premature ageing diseases like Cockayne syndrome (CS), is critical to develop treatments, which are dramatically missing to date, and also elucidate physiological ageing. We identified an altered pathway that involves mitochondrial an metabolic dysfunction in cells from CS patients, and rescued these defects in these cells, by scavenging oxidative/nitrosative molecules, paving the path to therapeutic approaches for CS.
Mitigation and Adaptation in Cultural Heritage Landscapes: Lessons from Transhumant Pastoral Systems for Managing Novel Climate Risks – Pasture Adaptation
As our climate changes, it is important to reinforce the adaptive capacity of heritage livelihood systems and to recognize that cultural heritage offers capacity and lessons for both mitigation of climate change and adaptation. We examine landscapes of pastoralism in France, Norway, and Spain to understand: how they are threatened by climate change ; what they can tell us about ecological knowledge and social organization for climate resilience ; how can we sustain them.
Minority Share Acquisitions, Innovation and Competition – MINCOM

Miniaturized Multi-axis Quantum Sensors – MiniXQuanta
The primary goal of this project is to realize a miniaturized cold-atom interferometer that is capable of measuring the full three-dimensional acceleration and rotation vectors. To simplify and miniaturize the multi-axis sensor, a diffraction grating will generate all the beams required using a single incident laser. Finally, we will realize the first multi-axis interferometer with ultra-cold atoms on a hybrid magneto-grating chip.
Middle Classes, Taxation and Democracy in a Globalized World – MIDDLECLASS
This research project mobilizes the instruments of political economy and optimal tax theory to shed light on the link between inequalities, migration and democracy.
Microstructure design and machining of a beta metastable titanium alloy – DEMUTI
Contrary to the traditional approach which consists in optimizing the machining process, our approach emphasizes the role of the microstructural features of the material and of the cutting tool on the surface integrity. The data collected can then be used to determine the optimal microstructure of the material corresponding to a specification and therefore the heat treatment to be performed, or even to optimize the design of alloys.
Microstructure and mechanical properties of polycrystalline nickel-base superalloys of the aerojet engines of the future – TOPAZE
Capable of higher operating temperatures, new polycrystalline nickel-based superalloys are used for new generation aircraft engines. To take full advantage of the performance of these materials, the microstructure changes occurring during the forming operations must be perfectly controlled and lead to the optimal microstructure, to be defined according to the targetted in-service conditions.
