Plasticity and adaptability to the combined effect of pollution and climate change – POLLUCLIM
Plasticity and adaptability to the combined effect of pollution and climate change
Constraining the direct radiative effect of Black and Brown Carbon on climate: an innovative experimental study on their spectral optical properties – B2C
The B2C project aims at spectrally resolve the optical properties of BC and BrC aerosols and their variability in link with the particle formation process and atmospheric aging in order to provide the required parameterizations to climate models so to constrain their global and regional radiative effect.

Selecting for cooperative crops to develop sustainable agriculture – SCOOP
Agriculture must ensure sufficient production while limiting its impact on the environment. Cultivated plants sometimes waste resources by competing with each other, for example by growing tall to capture light, to the detriment of grain production. Crop density greatly affects the intensity of competition for resources and is now a limiting factor on yield.

Middle Classes, Taxation and Democracy in a Globalized World – MIDDLECLASS
This research project mobilizes the instruments of political economy and optimal tax theory to shed light on the link between inequalities, migration and democracy.
Bs -> mu mu gamma: novel measurement and litmus test of flavour anomalies – GammaRare
We propose to use the measurement of the rare, radiative decay Bs0 ? µ+µ-? -- in particular the «indirect« measurement, i.e. without detection of the photon -- as a strategy to tell apart two alternative explanations of the so-called anomalies in the semi-leptonic decays of B mesons. One explanation is in terms of underestimated systematic uncertainties; the other one is in terms of genuine new physics.
