The call aims at supporting transdisciplinary networks to innovate solutions and/or synthesize positive and negative inter-linkages between the economy, technology, institutions and the environment, climate, biodiversity, health and human well-being. This will support the co-design of sustainable development pathways.
Because the challenge is complex, there is a need for integrated, transdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approaches, bringing together natural and social sciences, humanities as well as stakeholders such as policymakers, resource managers, industries, citizens and other societal partners. Projects should address one or both of the following topics:
Topic 1 – Development of networks and communities of practice that address the inter-linkages, synergies, and trade-offs among three or more of the sustainable development goals.
Topic 2 - Synthesis of positive and negative inter-linkages among three or more sustainable development goals using quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies.
Please consult the call text and other documents on www.bfgo.org
Full-proposals must be written in English and submitted electronically via the Belmont Forum Grant Operations website: http://bfgo.org by November 2, 17h UTC
