Ouverture du 4ème appel à projets Scientific and Technological Coperation in Plant Genome Research as Basis of the "Knowledge-Based Bio-Economy".
La collaboration entre l'Allemagne, la France et l'Espagne menée depuis plusieurs années dans le domaine de la génomique des plantes à travers le programme de recherche "Transnational Plant Alliance for Novel Tecnologies- toward implementing the Knowledge-Based Bio-Economy (PLANT-KBBE) in Europe" est étendue cette année au Portugal.
L'appel à projets est ouvert aux consortia rassemblant à la fois des partenaires publics et des partenaires du secteur privé, appartenant aux quatre nations. Les projets doivent s'inscrire soit dans un contexte de réponse à un besoin industriel (industry driven), soit dans une perspective orientée vers des aspects appliqués (application-oriented). Le premier contexte sera prioritaire.
Quatre champs thématiques sont déclinés : bio-énergie, production de bio-matériaux et de molécules d'intérêt, production en conditions durables d'aliments plus sains et plus sûrs pour l'humain et les animaux, et biologie des systèmes.

Specific instructions for submission of full proposals to PLANT KBBE 2009
Each full proposal application, summary, and table of costs must be sent by the coordinators to :
KBBE-PG-2009@agencerecherche.fr
before the 29th of May midnight.
Each application MUST contain three files :
(It is highly recommended to send a pdf version of the full proposal application to avoid problems with large Word files)
A receipt will be automatically sent to the coordinators.

Don't forget to send the specific complementary documents eventually required by each country.
The deadline for registration and submission of EoIs is 27 March 2009. They must be sent by mail to : laborde@genoplante.com. Participation in the Workshop is highly recommended, although it is not a prerequisite for submitting a proposal afterwards.

The appelsprojetsrecherche.fr portal centralises all information on calls for proposals and calls for applications from ADEME, ANR, Inserm including ANRS, Anses and INCa. It provides a simplified access to upcoming and ongoing calls, giving a greater visibility to funding opportunities. Following their closing date, the calls remain published for a few months.
