The ANR is launching its 10th Franco-German call for proposals in Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in collaboration with the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
This call aims to fund research projects involving at least one French and one German team. It is open to all research areas within the SSH. Thematically, the research projects don’t necessarily have to relate to Franco-German objects and/or field researches.
A report on past editions with advice for applicants is available above.
Funding requests are subject to each agency’s requirements, rules and procedures, as stated in the call for proposals. DFG and ANR will be respectively responsible for funding their national research teams: DFG will fund German research organizations and ANR will fund French ones.
Projects must be submitted to both agencies and follow their respective procedures (for more details on applications to ANR, please see the guidance in the call text, in particular in the appendix for French participants)
Each French partner will have to sign his application form and then scan it and put it online on ANR’s website before 31/03/2016 at 13:00 (CET).

Contrary to the previous anouncement, there will be a 2017 edition of the French-German call in Social Sciences and Humanities. It will be published and open mi-December 2016 and close mid-March 2017, as usual.
The appelsprojetsrecherche.fr portal centralises all information on calls for proposals and calls for applications from ADEME, ANR, Inserm including ANRS, Anses and INCa. It provides a simplified access to upcoming and ongoing calls, giving a greater visibility to funding opportunities. Following their closing date, the calls remain published for a few months.
