ANR has joined up with the American National Science Foundation (NSF) to fund French teams jointly selected by France and the US under the NSF’s Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE) call for proposals. The multidisciplinary PIRE programme backs American researchers in their commitments to global collaborations whose scientific excellence enables the combined promotion of research and education.
The PIRE call for proposals is set out in the NSF’s 16-571 solicitation and in the ANR’s document below.
Each agency will cover expenditures for their respective country’s teams according to individual agencie’s rules and regulations
Please note : NSF reserves the right to fund projects regardless of the presence of ANR funding.
