Call Open & Re-usable Research Data & Software (ORD) of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET

The ANR participates in the Call Open & Re-usable Research Data & Software (ORD) of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium bringing together 11 countries, with a budget of 6 M€. The call announcement can be found under Call ORD on the official CHIST-ERA website: https://www.chistera.eu

CHIST-ERA supports Horizon Europe's Open Science agenda according to the principle "as open as possible, as closed as necessary":

1.    CHIST-ERA provides an innovative Open Science policy to granted projects, which encompasses the national/regional Open Science policies of the ERA-NET partner organisations. This allows researchers to develop their projects in line with the most advanced open access practices;
2.    With a particular interest in emerging information and communication technologies, CHIST-ERA also supports the transformation of the research landscape brought about by Open Science by supporting R&D projects on solutions to facilitate and promote Open Access.

This call tackles the challenge of open research data and software from the perspective of their possible reuse. The objective is to create the conditions for research based on open or shared data and software.

A one-step submission process applies. The coordinator prepares a joint proposal, in English, for the whole consortium, using the template available on www.chistera.eu/call-ord-announcement and submit it via the online submission system of CHIST-ERA.

Potential applicants are invited to start discussing possible projects with prospective partners and to use the Partner Search Tool available on the call page.

For projects selected for funding, each partner of the consortium will be funded directly by its respective national or regional funding organisation. Therefore, all local regulations apply. In particular, the French applicants must read the document entitled “Modalités de participation pour les Partenaires sollicitant une aide de l’ANR” available on this page.
