Biotechnology for a sustainable bioeconomy - ERA-NET CoFund CoBioTech
ANR participates in the 1st call of the ERA-NET CoFund CoBioTech, bringing together 21 funding organisations. The co-funded call covers industrial biotechnology. Applications must address one of the topics described below:
- Sustainable production and conversion of different types of feedstocks and bioresources
- New products, value-added products and supply services
- Sustainable industrial processes
The aim of the co-funded call is to contribute to transforming the global economy from a dependence on fossil raw material to a sustainable bio-based economy.
The pre-proposals and the proposals must be submitted correctly by the coordinator on the submission website for ERA-NET CoBioTech (https://www.submission-cobiotech.eu). Only the coordinators of pre-proposals, which passes the first evaluation step will then be invited to submit a full proposal.
For projects selected for funding, each partner of the consortium will be funded directly by its respective national funding organisation. Therefore, all national regulations apply. In particular, the French applicants must read the document entitled “Modalités pour les participants français” available on this webpage.

Consult the upcoming and current calls of the appelsprojetsrecherche.fr portal
The appelsprojetsrecherche.fr portal centralises all information on calls for proposals and calls for applications from ADEME, ANR, Inserm including ANRS, Anses and INCa. It provides a simplified access to upcoming and ongoing calls, giving a greater visibility to funding opportunities. Following their closing date, the calls remain published for a few months.
