Résumé de soumission

Digital applications are growing also in the field of prediction, evaluation, and follow-up of neurodegenerative diseases (NDs). Ideally, the collection of individual datasets, fused with physiological, neuropsychological and mathematical/statistical models by artificial intelligence (AI), may lead to digital twins paralleling and offering insight of the real subject. Nonetheless, the active research in the fields of brain mapping and structural/functional connectivity are proposing manyfold solutions which ought to be harmonized and integrated in the perspective of standard and widely applicable models. Bringing together several leading groups in the field to compare methodologies is a worthy step in the direction of unified biomarkers and interpretative models. Neuroimaging and neurophysiological mapping are core constituents of the growing digitalization but the ones experiencing the highest degree of novelty and differentiation of techniques and methods. Hence the working group (WG) is committed to work towards unification and harmonization in view of clinical translation to neurology, neuropsychology and psychiatry. The networking will be solicited by cooperative tasks to be decided by the kick-off (KO) meeting and next refined (Mo.1-2), implemented (Mo.3-12), and discussed in the final workshop (Mo.12). Cooperative tasks of two or more units will require sharing and comparing methods and data, already available or ongoing upon units’ own grants. This approach is believed to enhance discussion among clinicians, physicists, mathematicians, and engineers on focused issues. Continuous interaction with Patients’ Associations is scheduled.
