IP Paris Artificial Intelligence programme – IPP-AI

Research and education in AI and Data Science is one of the priorities defined in the strategic plan of the Institute Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). The research teams of IP Paris have internationally recognized expertise in diverse fields of AI ranging from the core of theory and methods (learning theory and symbolic AI) to integration (computer vision, audio signal processing and robotics) and applications (climate, health, transport, etc.). Researchers working in AI form a structured community of AI not only developing theory and methods but also promoting interdisciplinary research to pave the way for scientific innovation. One goal of IP Paris is to develop the training of PhD students within the “IP Paris Artificial Intelligence programme” to enhance the research strengths of IP Paris laboratories but also to contribute to the development of AI in industry. The programme aims at attracting talented french and international PhD students which will be mentored by faculties of IP Paris. The PhD students will receive a strong interdisciplinary scientific training based on the internationally recognized quality of the laboratories of IP Paris, develop soft skills through seminars and interaction with experts from industry. Students funded by this program will be hosted either in the Doctoral School of IP Paris or in the Hadamard Doctoral School of Mathematics.
