BIOmedical MagnetoElectric New transducers – BIOMEN
The deploying of Internet of Things (IoT) in the health domain in the coming decades is to support and fortify the patient / doctor relationship. For this, it is necessary to anticipate a new generation of autonomous connected medical devices associated with diagnosis, or monitoring for prevention or assistance to people with loss of autonomy. In this context, this BIOMEN project consists in developing an implantable medical device within the human body, consisting of a magnetoelectric transducer (ME) and an integrated energy conditioning and management electronics on silicon chip.
